Seniorenpark “Voigt’sches Gut” offers 88 spacious single rooms with modern furniture and a big garden. The Fund owns the main building with 60 places in single rooms. The nursing home is located in the centre of the small town Rositz. In the immediate vicinity are two supermarkets, a bus stop, a doctor and pharmacy, a park and church and the senior citizens’ club. The house is conveniently located and offers good parking facilities.

AWO’s nursing services are in accordance with their own developed guidelines to provide high quality standards. AWO is guided by the care model according to Monika Krohwinkel which means optimal care tailored to the individual’s needs.

The nursing staff and caregivers at Voigt’sches Gut are well-trained and available at all time. Occupational therapists and physiotherapists are based in-house to train mobility and maintain it as long as possible. Voigt’sches Gut also has extensive therapy and care options for people suffering from dementia and for multiple sclerosis patients. Fall prophylaxis, geronto-psychiatric care and, finally, compassionate end-of-life care complete the range of care.
